Our Approach
At My Thred Built, we like to take an easy approach with a new client, such as meeting on site, and understanding our clients wants and needs, and getting a feeling of what they would expect from us in regards to the process and the level of craftsmanship.
The process
1. We can work with the client from the very start and help them understand the process which generally starts with getting the best fit architect on board for the design, which then leads to a site survey carried out on the property for the architect to start the design.
Once a design has been agreed on, we can price this up as a rough budget before it goes through the whole DA (Development Application) or CDC (Complying Development certificate) process, and ensure it is within your budget.
2. While the approval process is being carried out we always recommend getting an interior designer on board to bring all those photos and dreams into the design.
3. Once approval has been given for the build, we now go to an engineer for the structural design.
4. Build cost- Now we have a full design package, generally now we can provide a total fixed price for the build.
5. Lets go! Now a contract can be signed, all council fees etc are paid, a private certifier can be assigned to the project, and a construction certificate can be issued for you to move out and let us start the process of building your dreams into reality!!
